Karnataka is in the news for the past few days on chief minister's chair issue. The present chief minister Siddaramaiah  is still CM and as per understanding there is power sharing of CM's post for two and half years. The other contestant for the CM's post is D K Shivkumar, present Deputy CM  of Karnataka. Many supporters of DK Shivkumar wants their leader to take over as CM after two and half yrs as Siddaramaiah's term has concluded as per power sharing terms. The issue was later taken with high command but  Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi silence on the issue gave opposition a chance to criticize and also demand No confidence motion against present CM. Supporters of Siddaramaiah want him to continue in the chair and are ready to face the NCM on the floor of house. The present situation shows no issue with CM seat among both leaders but opposition has taken the silence of Congress high command over the issue as a political drama between the leaders. It's still not clear as D K Suresh, brother of D K Shivkumar was in Delhi till Saturday and the said issue though looks settled the Karnataka CM's chair seems shaky.
