Hundreds of people visit the Margao Municipal Council building daily to avail government services, payment of house tax and other submissions, etc, but the condition of the corridor where people form a queue is very dangerous. In fact it is in a state of imminent collapse if action is not taken for its structural rehabilitation immediately. Massive water seepage through the slab and cracks in the wall have been observed by many who visit the building. Is the government waiting for a tragedy to occur before it wakes up from its slumber?
