A cow felt down at night in a well which is near the Canara Bank and side of the famous Monument of Braganza family ( Braganza House) at Chandor. The well is open on top and in a unsafe condition which is dangerous for children and animals and the owner of this well should cover the well by putting a cover on the well. This is the second such accident in past few months and such incidents will continue if the village panchayat office of Guridolim and the owner do not take any further action. Panchayat and fire fighters were on the site, rescue operation was on but as they did not have proper equipment they left. Sarpanch called animals rescue who came after hours. Request the village panchayat of Guridolim and the owner of the well to clean and cover the well with wrought iron cover as soon as possible. Request the rescue team both of fire brigade and animals rescue department to have all the proper equipment so that your team can handle all emergency situations in future.
