Don’t vote for family raj

In the previous elections, the BJP was blaming Congress party for giving tickets in the family but today we can see that both the parties are sailing in the same boat. Our CM Pramod Sawant already said well in advance that the BJP will rule the state and Congress party will be in opposition. Politics in Goa has crossed all the limits. The couple's battle constituencies are Panaji, Taleigao, Calangute, Siolim, Aldona, Tivim, Quepem, Sanguem, Valpoi and Poriem. Father-daughter and uncle-nephew battles are seen in Benaulim, Navelim and Cuncolim and Dhavalikars brothers are also in the line. Because of this family raj politics, many BJP karyakartas have left the party because even after working hard on the ground for years in the party, they were not given tickets. Twenty-three candidates in BJP are imported from Congress and other parties. BJP thinks they cannot win the election without ex-Congress MLA's and their own karyakartas are good for nothing. If the family raj comes to power than will they listen to the voice of the people of Goa?  How will our young generation new faces be able to take Goan politics ahead when they are not given a chance due to family raj? Before casting your vote, remember the lathi charges by the police on directions of the present government. When the young and old came to fight for their rights to save and protect Goa, to save their motherland and the environment on various projects and issues, they were loaded into police vans and taken away even on Liberation Day. Not a single issue was solved. How can people of Goa forget the pain? So vote wisely and select a candidate who will listen to the voice of the people of Goa.

Barring two major projects carried out in the past several years including the clearing of Baina of the red-light area and the completion of the highway from Varnapuri to Sada,…
