EuroKids not shutting down

This is with regards to the article ‘Private schools in deep financial crisis’ by Dr Manasvi Kamat (TGE, September 24). The article talks about the state of private schools and the author has referenced EuroKids stating, “In a very uncomfortable situation is EuroKids that has noticeable presence across India and now planning to drop out of the education sector. Claiming that the lockdown has pushed them into severe financial strain, private school management in the state say that they are struggling to pay salaries. The salary of staff and teachers constitutes more than two thirds of the annual expenditure of private school.”This statement is unfounded and the allegation is completely erroneous. We would like to reiterate that EuroKids continues to work towards delivering the joy of learning to thousands of children, and the statement of exiting is completely baseless.
