Government lacks basic governance priorities

We witness so much of Goan land being sold/converted and environment devastated (hills cut, forests cleared, thousands of trees chopped, fields filled ..). to allow (mostly outside) wealthy real estate companies, to set up so many real estate projects including mega ones like Bhutani (Sancoale), DLF (Reis Magos), etc. It makes one think if Goans are governed by a proper government or just a big real estate company/brokerage where practically most ministers and even many in Goa govt administration earn huge shares from the real estate sales; by being real estate agents/brokers. Just recently the Chief Secretary himself was  allegedly found to be buying illegal property and then converting it with approval of TCP dept. Basic governance priorities are practically not there and most of the time, the  Goa government  and the TCP minister  are just busy pushing new controversial legislation/bills to make the sale/conversion of real estate easier.
