The BJP government at the Centre has betrayed the people of Goa. The Union Home Minister Amit Shah's statement last weekend in Karnataka that the Sawant government in Goa was taken into confidence over Karnataka Mhadei water diversion project is not acceptable. We the people of Goa are fighting for our lifeline Mhadei for years and for our information Karnataka has not received the environmental clearance and the Mhadei matter is in the Supreme Court. Is Amit Shah more powerful than Supreme Court of India? These type of persons are ruling the country where they divide and rule by harassing the people by taking decisions which go against the public. Even the double tracking of railway tracks are being done by force to keep the top businessmen happy who help and support the present government with funds during election time to win the election. This BJP government is only creating confusion with not a single sign of solution. People of Goa have to come on streets to protest and save and protect our environment our Goa.
