Hardships faced at hospitals during Ganesh festival

Life after the Ganesh festival has presumably returned to normal, but not after several people and senior citizens were put through an ordeal of hardship, inconvenience and suffering, for want of essentials at grocery shops and  and life saving medicines at a few pharmacies. This I believe to be a case of gross dereliction of duty on the part of the medical fraternity which should be taken up by the Medical Council of India to remind  errant doctors of the Hippocratic oath they are expected to abide by. to make them more humane than mercenary. Secondly, private medical consultants should learn to display  some more  sense of ethics by being punctual on the day of appointment and not keep their patients waiting for long on the excuse of being caught up in traffic jams.
