If you travel along the Old Mandovi bridge towards Porvorim at the mid-way of the bridge, on the left side there is a sign board that mentions that the jurisdiction of Panaji police ends there! People could be made aware as on what basis police jurisdictions are marked so that it becomes easy to file a complaint or inform if some incident occurs at a contentious spot. The board could have the contact numbers of the nearest police station. By the by, it will be helpful if the authorities clarify if there are different jurisdictions for emergency services such as fire, ambulance, disaster management and so forth.
