Illegalities at historical site in Chandor

It is sad to see that the site of historical monuments near the Chandor Church next to Canara Bank has turned into a mini-market for migrants who have started different types of businesses. Some sell fish in the area leaving behind filth and stench. A fruit seller and a migrant selling bhelpuri are seen permanently at the site. The plot where all these illegalities are going on belongs to well-known families in the area. The place is turning out to be unhygienic. Some of those doing business even block traffic by sitting next to the main road and on a sharp turn which is putting the life of vehicle users in danger. Hope the village panchayat office of Guridolim will immediately take action and clear the area of the migrants. Let's keep our Goa Clean.
