Keeping nation updated on supply situation

The country is facing rough weather today because of the war against Iran and the subsequent closure of the Strait of Hormuz. Crude supply has been affected, gas shortages are visible, commercial LPG cylinders are not available as the government prioritizes domestic supply. But have you seen any update on the situation from anyone in the government at all ? Where is our petroleum minister these days, the PM as always is laser focused on winning the upcoming state elections. Why is the nation not being kept updated on the supply situation? While nations in our neighbourhood have cut down work to 4 days a week, or are resorting to 'work from home', our government is behaving like an ostrich, burying its head in the sand when faced with a crisis. Do we the citizens have no right to critical information that may affect our collective and immediate future? It is time we demanded accountability and transparency from this sarkar. India wants to know !!
