Make govt depts accountable, introduce WhatsApp number

The state government announced free water for domestic consumers but PWD authorities should be prompt in repairing broken or leaking pipelines to avoid water wastage that flows down the drain. This is total wastage of the exchequer's money.

I have noticed water leaking from this damaged pipeline near the police station at the St Francis Xavier chapel junction for almost a week now.  But every citizen is also duty bound to inform the PWD to send their technicians to repair such broken pipelines. The PWD should make available a WhatsApp number so that the concerned JEs in-charge can get the the water leakage fixed at the earliest.

I hope the PWD minister Deepak Pawaskar will be able to make his dept more accountable by introducing the WhatsApp number.
