On most occasions, scattered garbage has been noticed adjacent to Shree Laxmi Sweet Mart at the entrance of bus stand in Mapusa. The situation tends to be unhygienic for commuters and bus operators alike.
In fact it was necessary to keep this bus stand neat and tidy. But due to delay in regular clearance of garbage, public at large face inconvenience while proceeding along this location.
Due to the dumped garbage, even stray cattle visit these premises on regular basis. As on October 19, even tender coconut shells were noticed adjacent to the dumped garbage.
It is absolutely necessary that every locality is kept neat and tidy in order to maintain healthy conditions to one and all. Since cleanliness is next to godliness, let us hope that the concerned authorities would initiate prompt favourable action.
