England footballer Chloe Kelly removed her shirt after netting the winning goal in the just concluded Women’s Euro 2022 final against Germany. She and the team had worked hard for this moment of glory and had defeated all opposition. The action was for gender equality and shamed no one completely side-lining sexuality. The Indian actor too might have worked hard but did not prevail over anyone else: bodybuilders in India alone overshadow his efforts. Actors only ‘project’ the characters and can never become the same.
