NDA showing disrespect to farmers' sentiments

The Modi-led NDA government at the Centre is throwing caution to the wind and showing scant disrespect to the sentiments of farmers by not repealing the three farm laws that are detrimental to their causes and concerns. On the contrary, the government is resorting to double standards because it is this same government led by Narendra Modi that claimed it had solved various issues of the farmers by providing them with various types of schemes for their betterment. Why is it that the government is now not bowing to the wishes of the farmers and thus repealing these laws. The government must remember farmers form almost 50 per cent of the population of India. The NDA government at the Centre has lost the trust of the farming community and this could signal its end.

Police on bandobast duty always at receiving end

It is shocking to note that on Goa’s 60th Liberation Day hundreds of policemen posted on duty all along the VVIP route went thirsty and without food. Ironically Rs 100 crore has been allocated for the year-long celebrations. The policemen have been on 12 hours bandobast duty for the last three days. However, it is learned that these policemen were not provided with either bottles of water or food. The police personnel on duty also faced sanitation issues as no mobile toilets…
