It was truly delightful to hear from the Union health Minister Dr HarshVardhan that if everything goes well then India will get its anti Corona vaccine by the end of this year. Already the three Covid-19 vaccine candidates, including two indigenous ones, are in different phases of development in India.
That the ICMR is in the process of developing an online vaccine portal which will provide information related to Covid-19 vaccine development in India and abroad, in English and several other Indian languages , has to be really lauded as this can inform all our citizens updated information regarding the various development stages of the vaccines that hopefully, can put a full stop or at least lessen the impact of a pandemic that has unfortunately applied a sudden brake to the world and the whole of mankind depriving the world and it's population from having a normal life.
The same portal can also be used later, once the vaccinations are out, to provide information regarding its availability and utilisation.
