With reference to the article ‘Palm Sunday’ by Br. Malvino Alfonso (Sunday, TGE, Apr 13), I would like to make a mention of a beautiful video clip doing the rounds, about Jesus who chose to enter Jerusalem riding on a donkey to fulfil the prophecy of Prophet Zechariah (9:9). Interestingly, the donkey on which Jesus rode had a cross on its back upon which Jesus sat and rode into Jerusalem ---- not to be crowned king, but to the cross to be crucified. This was to save us from our sins and the people who were awaiting the arrival of the Messiah, and kept shouting ‘Hosanna to the Son of David’ (meaning, save us).
