Ultracon Madgaon Royals and Mapusa Dream Crushers registered impressive wins on Day 5 of the Sarsangan Priority Veterans Cricket Series 2025 at Arlem Cricket Ground.
Put in to bat, Ultracon Madgaon Royals made a strong start with Pratap Prabhugaonkar (29) and Sandeep Dalal (35) putting on 44 runs in just 4 overs. Yatin Kaisare (21), Rakesh Mallya (32*), and Anish Dharwadkar (12) added to the momentum, taking the score to 125-5 in the 16th over. A late flourish by Dr. Sarvesh Kamat (22) and DySP Rajendra Prabhudesai (18*) lifted the total to a formidable 188-6. Vishnu Namshikar led the bowling for Delite Titans with 2-26, while Paresh Prabhudesai, Sachin Neurekar, Siddesh Desai, and Shiraj Pai Khot took one wicket each.
In response, Delite Titans suffered an early collapse, losing their top three batters for just 17 runs by the 5th over. Vishnu Namshikar (21), skipper Shiraj Pai Khot (37), and Siddesh Desai (35) staged a recovery, taking the score to 124-4 by the 16th over. However, with wickets tumbling quickly thereafter, the Titans fell short, ending their innings at 158 and losing by 30 runs. Yatin Kaisare, Mahesh Churi, and Deep Bhende picked up two wickets apiece.

In the second match, Mapusa Dream Crushers opted to bat and posted a challenging 190-5. Contributions came from Mahesh Kudchadkar (26), Vibhav Pai (24), Dr. Sagar Salgaocar (38), Amith Kamat (18), Avinash Kossambe (37), and Laxmikant Kurade (21*). Rasik Pai Khot took 2 wickets, with Sudin Kamat, Jaiprakash Kunde, and Prasad Bhende also among the wickets.
Antruz Aviators began the chase confidently with solid knocks from Sudin Kamat (30), Sarvesh Kamat (38), and Sachin Kenkre (36). However, a middle-order collapse hampered their momentum. Despite late efforts by Rasik Pai Khot (22) and Raju Shenai Salgaonkar (16), the Aviators fell short by 12 runs, finishing at 178-6. Rupesh Kossambe starred with the ball, taking 2-22.
