The Superintendent of Police (Traffic) has now reportedly directed all traffic cells to strictly enforce the ban on non-ISI helmets in the state and has even instructed the cops from the traffic cell to henceforth treat the commuters using non-ISI helmets as riding without helmets in Goa. Looks like the cops from the traffic cell are slowly finding it very difficult to collect money in the state as most two-wheeler riders are currently seen compulsorily wearing helmets whilst moving around everywhere and due to which the Superintendent of Police must have come up with this novel idea of further harassing these same soft targets for using non-ISI helmets around Goa.
Hey, if the Superintendent of Police (Traffic) and cops from the traffic cell have a big issue with non-ISI helmets then why are they still allowing some non-Goan migrants to openly sell their duplicate helmets on all the major bridges, national highways etc right in front of their noses in broad daylight in different parts of Goa?
I think that the Superintendent of Police (Traffic) should first pull up his own cops from the traffic cell for deliberately allowing outsiders to openly sell duplicate non-ISI helmets after collecting their regular 'haftas' or bribes and then decide to unnecessarily start harassing all our two-wheeler riders.
