It was a tough time for school teachers and students duringthe Covid pandemic, but it was a good experience for the students to learn andstudy online right from their homes on mobile phones, computers and laptops.They will always remember that they have undertaken online exams in thedifficult times due to the pandemic. Few of migrates’ children had not attendedthe online studies nor have answered exams but were promoted to the next class.This was a good opportunity for them to take advantage of being promoted toother class as per government rules. After the final exams, few schools havesend only messages that they have promoted to so and so class without sendingmarks sheet or report card. Looking at the present situation it looks like thisyear to the children will have to do online studies as the country is preparingfor the third wave. Schools have to do readmission of the students to checkwhether the outsiders’ children are there or not there in the State of Goa. Goagovernment should provide more network towers in the State of Goa so thatchildren from various parts of Goa may not face problems to study sitting intheir home to avoid going here and there in search of network. Hope the schoolauthority will do the needful and look into the matter.
