The signpost existing at the junction along Bethora road in Ponda was installed with the basic purpose of depicting direction for travellers proceeding along the adjoining routes. However, during last several years, the signpost has been lying in a neglected condition. Names of places mentioned over it have disappeared from the scene. With the signpost existing in a dilapidated condition, it no longer serves its basic purpose. It is necessary for the concerned authorities to provide facelift to this signpost on prompt basis so that it turns beneficial to public at large. Innocent travellers must receive necessary guidance while proceeding along this strategic route. Let us hope that the authorities would take a note of this important matter and do the needful on priority basis.
