Every time we have to remind the authorities to do their work because unless and until we don’t tell them they do not do their duties on time. In Chandor-Cavorim, several LED streetlights are not working for the past many months and the linemen of the electricity department are not interested in replacing these. They don’t even report the matter to their department. The streetlights from Nunes General store upto Alma Khuris are not in working condition. Even the lights on internal roads in Cavorim are not working. Now Christmas is approaching and we request the authorities concerned, local MLA and the village panchayat to look into this matter as soon as possible. Also, request to straighten the streetlight poles near the Chandor Church and the paddy fields near Alma Khuris. These bent poles are posing a risk to people.
