People from Siolim constituency have been making a beeline to the PWD office to file their complaints on frequent pipeline leakages. They have been leading morchas and slogan shouting as there is no proper water for them, but sadly most of it flows into the drains and roads. First, consumers were asked to attach their old bill but now the chief engineer and assistant engineer are asking them to attach a copy of their Aadhar card while submitting any type of application to the PWD office. Such practices are uncalled for only to create paper waste. And why the Aadhar card document for such applications. Will the PWD chief engineer or assistant engineer kindly clarify for the benefit of the consumers?
