The problem and issues of street lights is not getting solved but getting worse. The Electricity departments are giving the lights for repair in the workshop department but when they go with the faulty LED lights they are not given the lights which are repaired and it takes months to get them back. Even the truck crane vehicle they have to wait for months to fix faulty lights. The external and internal LED lights on streets road are not working and lead to accidents as the street lights at most places are not working for months. Cattle and dogs sit in the middle of the roads and are the cause of many accidents. Is the electricity department and Power Minister serious about the safety of public? The old capital of Goa Chandor is always crying for basic lighting needs. The road passing through new flyover bridge at Chandor, after crossing the bridge from Curtorim side doesn't have a street light pole neither is the road marked with white warning lines for safety at night. The electricity department should install new poles on the main road for the safety of public using the road at night. Request the government of Goa, Electricity department and Power Minister to immediately look into the matter and solve this issue as soon as possible.
