On August 23, India's Chandrayaan-3 made a successful landing on the moon. Interestingly, it landed on the south side of the moon. India is the first country in the world to land Chandrayaan on the south pole. ISRO's scientists and researchers have played a major role in this success. It is reported that ISRO spent around Rs 613 crore to make this campaign a success. Accordingly, the cost of other countries' missions is more. Russia recently launched the Luna-25 lunar mission. Its production and campaign cost was around Rs 1,600 crore. This means that Russia's cost is two and a half times more than India's Chandrayaan mission. Luna-25, Russia's lunar mission, was a failure despite the cost of weather measurements. In this Chandrayaan-3 mission, LNT Mumbai, Hindustan Aeronautics Bangalore, Bharat Heavy Electricals, Delhi, Walchandnagar Industries Pune, Godrej Aerospace Mumbai, Keltran Kerala, Anant Technologies Hyderabad , Himson Industrial Ceramics, Surat, Paras Defense and Space Technology Navi Mumbai, VCB Electronics Pune and Centum Electronics Navi Mumbai also have a lion's share. Overall, the campaign has been successful at a low and reasonable cost and by involving renowned industries of the country. In fact, it will not be wrong to say that the success belongs to everyone, i.e. 140 crore Indians.
