Stringent checks on migrants needed to curb rising crimes

Goa is known for its quiet and tranquility among all the states in India. Goa's rich culture with greenery is most attractive. For last few months Goa is caught in the web of murder cases and kidnapping cases. Murder cases have increased and speak about law and order situation in the state. Few days back kidnapping cases were reported and the same has put parents in dilemma. School going children are targeted and hence both school and parents are on their toes.  Schools should now compulsorily have CCTV cameras within the premises and outside the premises. Today Goa gets maximum migrants coming from north India for work and the numbers are increasing due to availability of train services. The increase in migrants has become concern as day light robberies are also at an alarming rate. We cannot stop movement of people from one State to another but we can definitely monitor migrants on purpose of stay and verification of tenants. Every possible check on migrants coming to Goa in the name of work is need of the hour.
