Our old people always used to tell us that our beautiful Goa and we Goans are protected by St Francis Xavier, our loving Goencho Saib. Our Goencho Saib's body is kept in Old Goa church which is also known as 'St Francis Xavier's church'. Our Goencho Saib is the pride of Goa and as Goans we feel that our State is safe till our Goencho Saib's blessings are on our Goans. It is very sad that our Goencho Saib was insulted by former Goa RSS chief Velingkar and our Goans also protested but the government which was chosen by the people, for the people, of the people has turned a deaf ear to our people. Is this justice? Only one question comes to my mind after all that has happened these days in our State. Does Goa really belong to Goans?
