A PSI from Mapusa Police station has erected a board at the border of Mapusa city demarcating the jurisdiction of the PS to help the public know where to register their complaints. I am happy that the PSI of Mapusa has been proactive, but the same board could have had the jurisdiction of other police station to avoid the cost of having another board. Will the new DIG look into such unnecessary expenses?
No sign of pothole-free roads
pothole-free roads till now
CM Pramod Sawant said all potholes would be filled and hot mixed hopefully before the year 2021 ends. In Siolim, the internal road in Bamon vaddo which links the MDR-6 and MDR-5 Sodiem has been soiled and awaiting to be asphalted by the PWD (roads). The citizens of Bamon Vaddo have immensely suffered due to the potholes, breathing the red dust. It is in their houses and on the furniture. The compound walls have turned red because of the poor maintenance of the road for almost three years. The elections are around the corner and with the code of conduct, the residents fear that this road will receive the hot mix carpet only by November 2022. It’s high time the people of Bamon vaddo exercise their voting powers for the right candidates at the assembly and panchayat elections.
