Arvind Kejriwal seems to be destined to consolidate his hold in politics in India, thanks to his resolute never say die nature as well as his well targeted decisions that have enabled AAP to spread its wings to Punjab in a very impressive performance. Gujarat assembly elections is set to portray him at least as a leader of a national party and indications appear that AAP is set to carve a significant niche for itself in the State.
AAP looks set to perform better than polls predict because they have gauged the pulse of the people and launched an aggressive campaign in the State. Kejriwal is a very shrewd politician and seems to be more effective than has been perceived.The handling by AAP of several allegations against the party, which if they are a witch hunt could boomerang against the BJP. Solid performances, twice in Delhi and once in Punjab will surely be on the back of the minds of the Gujarat electorate, who would want to see a change of guard. On December 8, the counting of ballots will reveal AAP's performance.
