Acid attack accused must face full force of law

A 17-year old boy from Dhargal, Pernem, was seriously injured after being splashed with acid by a man from Dodamarg, Maharashtra, on Monday morning. Of course, the accused man has now already been arrested but the justification he has given to the police for committing such a heinous crime is because the boy was responsible for the death of his late daughter as he was friendly with her for almost two years and she had died mysteriously after committing suicide a month ago. Now, even if the accused man had any issue (which he now claims) with the above boy then he had no right to take the law in his own hands. Instead, he could have followed certain procedures, could have filed a police complaint at any police station or would have approached the High Court and fought his case to give justice for his late teenage daughter which he did not do so. I think that this man who has dared to throw acid in broad daylight on a helpless boy waiting at a bus stop citing his own reasons should not be given bail.
