The central BJP leaders, who otherwise display great enthusiasm on swiftly arresting innocents (including highly educated intellectuals, writers, poets, thinkers, journalists etc) under serious charges of sedition for fighting to uphold the rights of all the down-trodden poor and marginalised people in our country have still not issued any statement nor have taken any action against actress Kangana Ranaut for openly describing India's Independence of 1947 as “bheek”, or alms recently and for saying that India attained real freedom only from 2014 after the Modi-led BJP government came to power at the centre. Well, this clearly shows that she is behaving like a BJP spokesperson.
The leaders of the Sangh Parivar and the Muslim League who wanted to see our country founded based on religion were solely responsible for India's partition in 1947 and not modern secular-minded leaders like Mahatma Gandhi and Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru who simply wanted to see this nation to stay united as one forever based on humanity and common sense.Padma Shri awardee Kangana Ranaut should therefore learn to get her facts right rather than try to misguide people with her own distorted history lessons.
