On Sept 21 at around 13.00hrs a car was seen opposite the NIO colony/temple in flames and completely burnt. Nothing is known so far of the reasons behind the blaze. Glass pieces were seen all around the car.
I have been stressing all the time that advertising boards must be restricted on highways which causes distraction to traffic drivers and the occupants in vehicles. These boards are seen fixed mostly on electric poles, compound walls and trees. These advertisements boards are seen from Dona Paula to Panjim and Dona Paula to Bambolim both on the highways. Concerned authorities must restrict or not allow individuals/ companies to install these boards which are the main cause for accidents.
