The High Court order on the action against the Anjuna illegalities clearly exposes the Lobo family MLAs. These local MLAs were very enthusiastic to be part of the “so-called” ban/meeting to protest the Court order on illegalities, but why did these MLAs not show the same enthusiasm in urgently meeting the Chief Minister, Chief Secretary (along with the affected residents) when so many Anjuna Residents were complaining for such a long time about sound pollution; particularly from many of these illegal structures?
Most illegalities go on in Goan villages with arrogance/deceit from the panchayat authorities as the sarpanch/panchas believe that they have the full backing/protection/cover of corrupt MLAs/Ministers. I request the justice system to also look at prosecution of the concerned Anjuna panchas involved in promoting/allowing illegalities, else they will continue to pursue their criminal activities; this can be a warning to other Panchas in other villages as well.
