BJP's 'Har Ghar Tiranga campaign' seems farcical

Our State BJP leaders along with their supporters are currently seen taking out Tiranga bike rallies in different parts of the state to promote their 'Har Ghar Tiranga campaign' to convince people to hoist the national flag atop their houses to celebrate India's Independence Day. It looks like India has got independence only after 2014. Why, were people starving when other prime ministers were ruling this country from 1947 to 2014?  Wasn't there development in this country under the leadership of other prime ministers of India? Well, I personally feel that if the BJP leaders want to pay their respect for all the freedom fighters who have fought/laid down their lives to make India independent then they should first tell as to what steps they are taking to give Goans from Anjuna to Arambol freedom from noise pollution on Independence Day and they should also tell when they are going to repair all the potholed roads in the state instead of distracting everyone by taking out such bike rallies everywhere for self-publicity.

Provide linesmen basic safety gear before going hi-tech

In order to improve the safety of linesmen working on power transmission lines, Goa’s Power Minister Sudin Dhavalikar reportedly said that the government will soon equip electricity department staff with smart helmets and watches in order to prevent electric shocks and enhance worker safety.
