Black money seems to be back to square one

The recent newspaper reports of  raids by the Income Tax department in Karnataka wherein black money in cash  amounting to Rs 94 crore was seized,  is a clear indication that the amount of  black money in the country is on the rise once again.. Several other raids by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in  other parts of the country  have  also unearthed crores of rupees in black money through various scams, frauds, bribes, money laundering, etc involving top government officials and ministers as well. The nation is therefore back to where it was earlier 7 years ago , on November 8 , 2016 , when the govt announced the demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000  currency notes -- a  failed experiment and a white wash, to say the least. So what is the plan now?  Do we repeat our past mistakes or have we something  more  up our sleeve, and promises before the forthcoming 2024 elections, to rid the country of black money?
