Is it necessary caste-based reservation to be prevalent in the 21st century which is a computer and robotic age? I personally don't feel so, Caste based reservation should end once and for all. Reservation cannot continue forever and should not continue as it is only a means to secure economic justice. Once that is achieved then all sections of society should work hard and compete with each other in level playing field as it happens in America and European countries where even residents of other countries also compete with the locals hence we see many Indian students excel and work at NASA and with IT companies.
Future generations should not cling on to their caste and I am happy that being in a teaching profession for 32 years I don't feel that there is caste discrimination among the young generation at all. I feel the NDA government if elected to form the next government should come with a ordinance that will abolish caste reservation in toto in the country.
