An interesting revelation has surfaced in the current Corporation of City of Panaji (CCP) nominated Councillors imbroligio. Both Kabir Makhija and Kishore Sastry in their biodata that was submitted to the CCP are strangely silent on what their current profession is. They have not revealed it even in their replies filed before the High Court. So it is not known what they do for a living and their means of sustenance.
They have not also claimed to be landlords or real estate brokers which is a convenient tag used by many of Goa’s affluent unemployed. But with no other means of living, presumably CCP is the source of nourishment. Political rot at the grass root level.
When will the CCP work fairly and with integrity for the good of the people to ensure that people that elected them can have faith and trust in their dealings with them?
