Centre has not shown any interest in inviting Pope

In 2021 our Prime Minister has visited Vatican Pope Francis and has announced he had invited Pope Francis to visit India. Our Chief Minister Pramod Sawant had sent request to PMO 2 months ago to invite Pope Francis to Goa during the exposition of St Francis Xavier which is 45 days event but the true fact is that the central Government seems to have not shown any interest so far for an official invitation to the Vatican Catholic community leader Pope Francis. This attitude clearly shows that something is fishy with the double faced politicians who boast about religious harmony but in reality don't respect minority community.  It's a matter of pride that a country like UAE gave such a great respect and honour to Pope Francis but our country is playing dirty politics over same. The last Pope to visit India was Pope John Paul ll who visited the country in 1999. The government of India should plan the trip of Pope well in advance which they have not taken any responsibility and interest.
