The BJP government in Karnataka is not performing up to the expectations of the people of Karnataka as Bengaluru is suffering on different counts, with bad governance and corruption the main reasons behind it. That Karnataka is witnessing communal tensions is also a cause for concern. The assembly elections are round the corner and all political parties in the State are only focused on getting the support of Lingayats, Muslims and Vokkaligas. The onus is on the government of the day to work for inclusive development for all. The election fever will also rake up the Mhadei water diversion issue to woo voters of Karnataka and explain the advantages of diversion which is already done by using underground canals. The people of Goa are fighting on the streets for survival but the Centre had given approval keeping in mind the elections in Karnataka so that the BJP wins them comfortably. The same Goa is ill treated as the MPT and the road network is expanded for coal transportation not for usage by Goa industries but for Karnataka causing pollution and health problems for Goans.
