The Extra-Ordinary General Body Meeting (EOGBM) of the Saligao Comunidade in an overwhelming majority has given a go-ahead to the new managing committee to protect the interest of the comunidade and file an FIR against the promoters of the illegal commercial project on comunidade land.
The EOGBM held on January 15 resolved that the Saligao Comunidade is not associated, in any way, with the promoters, and or the Mae De Deus Building, on Survey no 202/3, and all legal cases should no longer bear the name of the Saligao Comunidade, but shifted to the individual promoters.
It was also resolved to comply with the directions of the Administrator of Comunidades (North) who had asked the comunidade to file an FIR to protect the interest of the comunidade.
