Chandor village plunged into grief after news that local lad John Dias was shot dead in a super market in Houston where he was working.
Looking at the CCTV footage it appears that the suspect had come to take revenge on our Goan brother as the killer fled without taking any cash or other things from the store.
John was a young boy from Culsabhat, Chandor and used to play for the Chandor and Guridolim Club.
Hope the Houston police investigate the murder and bring the culprit to book as soon as possible.
It would be in the fitness of things if our Goan brothers and sisters reach out to the family and help in bringing his body back home for the final rites.
