Clear garbage along road at Queula

Dumping of household garbage along roadside happens to be a regular phenomenon not only in cities and towns, but even in villages.

In villages around Ponda, situation in this regard has been deteriorating day by day. Garbage (mostly plastic bags) are found along the roadside in the vicinity of Shree Betal temple at Queula.

Such a tendency has been continuing for quite long and the dumped garbage remains unattended on most occasions. Some years back a vehicle was allotted to the village panchayat of Queula for clearing the dumped garbage at this jurisdiction.

However one wonders whether this task has been undertaken with the seriousness it deserves. Scenes of scattered garbage along roadside not only cause inconvenience to innocent travellers and pedestrians, but also levies a negative image of the concerned authorities in the minds of public.

I hope that this VP takes a note of the above and assure regular clearance of garbage dumped along roadside.
