CM should clarify on who invited Portuguese to Goa

The Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant seems to be more obsessed with Goa-Portuguese history than with making things better in Goa. Unemployment is at its worst ever level in Goa and the irony is that the Portugal government is giving much more lucrative job opportunities to Goans (irrespective of caste/religion) versus what the current (unconcerned) Goa government offers to Goans.  Anyway the interesting thing is the CM conveniently leaves some facts out and I request him to please touch upon on the same i.e.  Who  invited the Portuguese to Goa? If the CM can mention the names and background of these people in public it will be great.

The popular and most used ferry wharf routes of Panaji-Betim, St. Pedro-Divar and Ribandar-Chorao are at most times chock-a-block with people and vehicles.  It is an ordeal to walk or drive carefully because of hordes of people and tens of vehicles.
