The Gujarat based Surat court convicted Rahul Gandhi as guilty on the “Modi name” case which was then used to disqualify him as MP. Whilst enough has been said on the conviction (right or wrong), I want to bring particular attention to the fact that so many BJP MPs with far worse criminal/terrorist cases than Rahul and MLAs (particularly in Goa including one involved in power scam, police station attack, etc); these cases have been going on for so many years, way before the 2019 case filed on Rahul; all these cases related to ruling parties are for some reason or the other lagging behind for so many years.
I humbly request the judiciary to pronounce their judgement on all the serious outstanding cases and where applicable convicted MPs/MLAs ( Including from the ruling party) are then disqualified from the Parliament and State assembly!
