Illegal immigrants executing two high-value robberies in Goa and slipping away from the State within a few hours is certainly cause for worry. Criminals always seem to be one step ahead of the authorities. Take, for instance, cyber crimes; look at the way they use modern technology and swindle away the life’s savings of innocent victims within a short time, becoming untraceable soon after the act.
The police, on their part, of course, are making all efforts to nab such criminals; it is indeed a tough job. Such criminals must, however, be brought to book, and the authorities must use modern technology to keep pace with them.
