Crimes of land grabbers on the rise in the state

The police should support the common man who comes with a genuine case especially cases regarding migrants who indulge in 'dadagiri' with the locals after getting fully drunk and take law in there own hands. We have seen in the press reports these days that our Goan brethren's land in which they still staying has been looted without their knowledge by land mafias in front of the nose of the government administration and police. This shows the administration is hand in gloves with the land grabbers hence the police should make a thorough investigation and bring to book the mafias who have been indulging in fraud and looting the innocent Goan brethren's properties.  If these cases are taken lightly by the police, it will lead to increase in crime rates which will be difficult to tackle. Many cases remain unsolved till date making a mockery of law-enforcing agencies. We hope and pray that this land grabbing issue is solved immediately otherwise there will be more cases reported in the days to come in Salcete also. People from Salcete beware of land mafias and check whether your property is on your name or not before it is too late.
