I would like to bring to your notice that many commercial buildings in Panaji do not allow customers' vehicles to be parked in their parking lot even though there is ample parking space in their parking lot thus forcing people to park on the roads and walk long distances thereby causing great inconvenience to persons with disability, senior citizens, pregnant women and children and most importantly reducing parking space on the roads. This is a serious issue considering the lack of available parking space in the city and the coming up of many more projects in the city. I request the law enforcement agencies to kindly look into the matter urgently and penalise those buildings which do not allow parking of customer's vehicles in their parking lot.
