The managers at some banks seem to be unaware of daily pending works with each employee. It has been noticed the instructions remain unattended for months and are lying in personal drawers. The customers are forced to submit fresh documents for misplaced ones by irresponsible employees. As a result income tax is deducted, pensions delayed, etc for not uploading the life certificates, etc. The alternative is to get an acknowledgement in all cases. The employees must compulsorily maintain log books of daily pending works signed by the manager to enforce responsibility in a time-bound manner. In irresponsible lapses of this kind, the customer suffers delays. Accountability must be ensured and errant employees must be held responsible.
