A CCTV camera and its power board have been knocked off its pole and have been lying on the ground at Benaulim beach for the last two months. This is the most visited public beach in South Goa barring Colva.
Security should be paramount here but the authorities don't seem to care two hoots. Also, the power socket on the wet ground is an invitation to electrocution. Would the panchayat take action before a fatality occurs?
