I had recently been to Ravindra Bhavan, Margao and was shocked to see the state of the building. Mildewed walls, water seepage, peeling plaster and dislodged paint were seen throughout the structure.
It seems the trustees have no interest in the upkeep of this prestigious building, which is one of the prime cultural hubs of Goa. I request the state government to intervene in the matter and undertake repairs in right earnest. Things would go further south with the monsoon in full flow; we don't want this to go the Kala Academy way.
